I've known about PR through my friends for a while, and I was wondering if my PC specs would be good enough to run it at around 60 FPS. I am trying not to go over a cost of $900 too.AMD Athlon X4 760K processor,Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H motherboard,Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3-1600 1.35v RAM,eVGA Geforce GTX 660 2GB Superclocked,Corsair Carbide 200R case,Asus VE228H 21.5',Seagate Barracuda 1TB,Corsair CX430 430WThanks for any helpful replies in advance!. That machine will toast PR.Project Reality is built on the Battlefield 2 engine which is single threaded so those extra CPU cores will be used to run the operating system and Mumble, the in game voice communication system.The 660 you are running has more than twice the capability of the top of the line video card available when battlefield 2 was released 10 years ago in 2005.So yeah, as long as your network connection isn't by carrier pigeon, you will be fine.For reference, I ran PR on a dual core laptop with 2GB of RAM and a 7600 with 512MB of VRAM for quite a while.
Bf2 Project Reality
I play Vanilla BF2 at all high, and get 50FPS easy, on any map I play Project reality v0.98 (The one just before 1.0 ) Play it at all medium, get a good 30fps (for my pc) on any map Then I play Project Reality v1.0 and the fps just drops so much, on every map, it is around 10-15 fps, any solutions / anyone know why? Kits in Project Reality define your class, equipment and your role in the team. PR features a wide selection of kits that you can take. Generally speaking, there are 2 kinds of kits in Project Reality.
