PLEASE CONFIRM THE REVISION OF YOUR BOARD VS THE SCHEMATIC! EXAMPLE- THE MODEL 1 MEGA CD IS EARLY AND MAY NOT MATCH YOUR UNIT!Here are some Sega Service Manuals. They were scanned from COPIES from the original manual NOT the original manuals. These will be good for repair and general information. There are 3 versions that have been scanned and in 2 sizes, A4 and A3. Print both sizes out in the required size, refer to the index and bind/staple as necessary.1/PDF 600dpi greyscale for best detail and are near 1/1 copies from the photocopies, file size is bigger and best for printing2/TIF 600dpi b/w are smaller in file size and are 90-95% of what the original photocopies are. Good for a quick download.Added due to file size complaint3/PDF Adobe Pro 'optimized' smaller file size at around 85-90% of originalsSega Mega Drive 2/Genesis 2 VA0PDFTIFPDF OptimizedSega Mega Drive 2/Genesis 2 VA1PDFTIFPDF OptimizedSega Mega Drive Supplemental (A4 only no A3 size for this)PDFTIFPDF OptimizedSega IC Specifications (Genesis VA7, Mega Drive PAL VA6.5 and Mega / Sega CD) A4 onlyPDFTIFPDF OptimizedSega 32X VA0, VA1PDFTIFPDF OptimizedSega 32X Service Bulletin A4 onlyPDFTIFPDF OptimizedMega/Sega CD. Unfortunately no manuals past VA1 for MD/Gen2, so no info for VA1.8 onwards.I had a look at the Mega CD (model 1) manual last night and it's going to be a ballser to do. The quality is shit house, pages aren't numbered and a whole section is in Japanese! I am hoping someone could spare the time to translate the japanese for us perhaps?

I am at work now and don't have it in front of me, but I beleive it is all text.If no one objects, I would like to number the pages (neatly and out of the way) for the Mega CD manual for easy sorting. Where did you get these manual in first place? I searched whole net one evening for service manuals without luck. There was an auction on ebay, a chap from Australia was selling a pile. SMSpower won all but one of the 8bit manuals (were sent to me for scanning), Sega-16 and affiliates(?) won all the 16bit stuff apart for the Mega Drive model 1 and 16bit accessories manuals (Spritesmind got these 2) and also got the Sega Satrun manual. There is a thread in 'Insert Coin'When I scan the Mega CD and mega Cd2 manuals, we can attach links to your CD thread if you like.
